Jarat Hill c. 1600 m west Sumatra (R. Schelechter No. 15995). Flowering on 01 February 1907.
Endemic.

Isotype
Near Mount Kaba, Bengkulu c. 1200 m. Collected by Leicneagra. Flowering on 26 February 2013.

Ceratostylis leucantha Schltr.

Rhizomes short, much branched.

Stems in a tuft, terete, from 15-22 cm long and 2 mm thick.

Leaves erect, almost terete, channelled all the way to the apex, to 3.9 cm long by 2 mm thick.

Inflorescences in bundles, one-flowered, the peduncles 2 mm long; floral bracts conspicuous, rounded-ovate, acute and acuminate, 4.6 mm long.

Flowers quite large for the section; dorsal sepal broadly lanceolate, concave higher up,  glabrous, acute, 6.75 x 2.7 mm; lateral sepals forming a small mentum basally wich is 1.3 mm long by 1.7 mm broad, obliquely oblong, in all 9 x 2.5 mm; petals obliquely oblong, obtuse, 6.5 x 2.6 mm; lip linear when not spread out, the basal two-thirds ciliate, the apex minutely hairy, when spread out much broader in the lower half, 8 x 2 mm; column very short, only 1 mm long.
