Sarcostoma javanica Blume, 1825
I recieved 5 photos today from Leicneagra`s orchid garden as specimen for determine ID. The result ID is a beautifull orchid from genus Sarcostoma, and named by Blume as Sarcostoma javanica at year 1825.
Our specimen come from south west sumatra highland. It is easy to identify because its characteristic appear, because of the purple margins on petals, hence the name.
