In Sumatra collected from Rimbo Pengadang, Bengkulu. The altitude was not given. Our specimen come from not too far from this area. Taken at c. 1200 m above sea level. 

This plat is not at all common (Very rare).  Even J. B. Comber in his book Orchids of Sumatra write he has yet to find a plant in either Java or Sumatra.

Its lucky for us the specimen flowering on 14 August 2012. Photo capture by Mr. Leicneagra and send to me to determine ID, as you see below.
