In perseverance, he learned the various orchid references and asked some orchid experts, he managed to reidentify many of Sumatra Orchids, which previously only recorded in old books and records. Through this blog he shares information about orchids he has reidentified.
He began to write a contents list of this blog on April 7, 2011, with the spirit and ideals, to build this blog as an information center of Indonesian orchids especially Sumatra orchids.With a book "Orchids of Sumatra" by J. B. Comber, a gift from a friend of Russia and various references. He investigated one by one existing reference and compare it with specimens from many friends in various parts of Sumatra.
Identification method is to translate scientific writing on orchids descriptions from orchid and taxonomic experts in the old records, and then compare all the characteristics and size of the plant and flower detail on the specimen found by his friends. His efforts paid off, many species of which have been thought to be lost were rediscovered through the identification results.

Maybe this blog will not continue, but hopefully all of his efforts are not wasted and will be continued by other friends in other ways.
