Existence in Sumatra report in
The Journal of the Linnean Society.Botany. V. 32 : 281 (1896). The 3 lines in labellum, yellon on tip or margin, dorsal sepal and petal without dotted and roseis in lateral sepals to be recognise this orchid is not type of Cirrhopetalum lepidum from Java or differs colour with Cirrhopetalum flabellum-veneris type from Vietnam.
This specimen collected from rubber plantation in Lubuk Tanjung village, Lubuk Linggau regency, South Sumatra, in eleveation c. 850-1000 m above sea level. Flowering in situ and capture by Mr. Azman Bainuri on 26 January 2013.
