It is allied to E. compressa Lindl, its differs in the larger flowers, and its in the quite differently shaped and broader lip mid-lobe. Collecting from Rejang-lebong regency, Bengkulu highland by Mr. leicneagra. Flowering in his gardens and capture on September 2012.
