Eria inamoena Schltr., 1911
Eria inamoena have very good fragrant like smelling Bunga melati (Jasminum sambac).
The appearance flower for first sight similar with Eria javanica, but very distinct different with petal formation when bloom, form and size of leaves. Eria inamoena have 5 keels in mid-lobe labellum, in other hand Eria javanica have 3 keels in mid-lobe labellum. This species native to Sumatra (endemic).
We rediscovered from this specimen.
Specimen collected from Alas Leuser riverside. Growing on the cliff, at stone with many mossy in surface. Elevation c. 800 - 1000 m above seal level. The habitat mix with Vanda sumatrana and Flickingeria smithii. Flowering on 05 August 2012 at Mr. Cipta Kurniawan home. According to him very fragrant, the smell like Jasmine flowers.
