Bulbophyllum galbinum Ridl., 1897

Rediscovery Bulbophyllum galbinum Ridl.
First description made by Ridley (1897) from specimen collected in Perak, Maxwell`s Hills, Peninsular Malaysia.

Our specimen collected from Payakumbuh, West Sumatra province send to me by Mr. Sonny A. S. on its flowering day 28 July to determine ID. The specimen blooming at cultivation in Muaro Jambi, Sumatra. All detail photo fide to Bulbophyllum galbinum Ridl. description and drawing line in a few old books.


New Record in Sumatra
Before this species known as native to Peninsular Malaysia only. Now we find it is occur in Sumatra as new record.
