Rediscovery Sarcochilus teres var. exinflatus J.J.Sm.
At year 1932 J. J. Smith publish species named Sarcochilus teres var. exinflatus. Specimen collected from sumatra island, as we can see at herbarium collection below this site. The flowers look like Sarcochilus teres (Pteroceras teres). This varian different form lip and colour. Tip of the lip pale or white, and the spur not being inflated.

Specimens success collected by Mr. Leicneagra from Barisan hill series at 1140 m above sea level. Flowering at his garden on 11 June 2011. We are really surprise because this specimen flowering with 2 variety colour and 2 variety form. The colour is red and yellow, and the form one specimen have sepals and petals reflexed and the other one erect . You can see the photo variety form this flowers in below.

We also make revision this specimen from genus Sarcochilus into proper genus Pteroceras.
