This little species was originally described from a specimen brought from India by Dr. Wallich, who had received it from Mr. Finlayson without a locality. It was then gathered at Singapore by Mr. Cuming, from whom we have some fragments ; and it has lately flowered with Messrs. Loddiges (204).
It
has oval pseudobulbs tapering at the base into a stalk and terminated
by a pair of leaves about four inches long. The flowers are in spikes,
which in Messrs. Loddiges specimen proceeded from the side of the
pseudobulbs, but which also appear to be terminal; they are dull
clayey-yellow of no great beauty.
